Computer Classes
You may have noticed that we don’t have any computer classes scheduled for the Winter session starting in January. Don’t worry – the break is temporary. We plan to have our Introductory class again in the spring, as well as some other new topics and opportunities. Interested in a class at your kitchen table? Wait to you hear what we are considering!! Peggy Palmiter, who teaches our classes, is taking the Winter session off to care for her Mom. Here is a note from her:
I am sure you all noticed that there are no computer classes scheduled in the upcoming year. I wanted to let you know that I am taking a session off. My Mom is terminally ill and has just entered hospice. I will be her primary care giver for the next few months. I am already imagining your reactions, but remember a couple of things. My Mom and I are great believers in hospice and we see these folks as a wonderful support. While I know this process will have difficult moments, I am blessed to be able to spend this time with my Mom. Don’t count me out all together! I see some of you individually and offer computer help to many of you. I am still providing those services and you can always call me. If I can’t respond immediately, I promise I will get back to you. Don’t stop calling – I need to know you are there even more now. Look for me to be back with an intro class in the Spring and some other new and fun projects and ideas. Imagine a mobile lab and a class with your friends at your kitchen table!! More to come and thanks for your support.
