It’s time for our Fall Computer Classes! Starting on September 20, 2011 we will begin our Fall class session. This time we are offering a fun combo in the mornings of Powerpoint and Adobe Photoshop Elements. In the afternoon, we are bringing back our Intermediate Computer Skills class.

This class is offered each Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 am from September 20, 2011 through October 18, 2011. We will have an additional online session that you can review on your own schedule!
Microsoft PowerPoint is a software program for creating and showing presentations that include slides, outlines, speaker’s notes and audience handouts. In this course designed for beginners, you will learn the fundamentals of PowerPoint, practice using text, pictures and clip art, and then edit your presentation to make it look professional.
We are including an added bonus! In addition to learning the fundamentals of Powerpoint, we will also include an introduction to Photoshop Elements so you can edit your images and then use them to make your slides (or anything else you wish to create) look fantastic. This will come in handy for the Holiday Card Class in November.

1:00—3:00 PM Intermediate Computer Skills
This class is offered each Tuesday morning from 1:00 to 3:00 pm from September 20, 2011 through October 18, 2011. We will have an additional online session that you can review on your own schedule!
In this course, we utilize material from the Introduction to WORD class, the Introduction to EXCEL class and Introduction to Computers. This class takes some of the material presented in the Introductory class to a more advanced level. We work to customize this class to the specific needs of our students. We will work in small groups and give students the chance to work on specific projects of their choice.
